My name is Bill Miller, and I’m thrilled to introduce Wild West Events, a recreational event producer designed to unite families, foster community, and celebrate Midwest spirit.

🤠 From a Family Dream to a Community Legacy

It started with a simple vision: a place where kids — especially those with special needs — could feel the freedom of riding a horse, where challenged young adults could belong, and where everyone could be part of something they’re truly proud of.

Now, Wild West Events Nonprofit is one step away from buying our own facility in the Kansas City area. We’re in the process of purchasing a facility for western events and competitors of all ages and will become a safe haven for youth and challenged young adults — a place where they can be part of something they’re proud of by participating and competing daily in Western events.

We’ll also provide equestrian scholarships for underserved youth, family-friendly Western festivals, hayrides, and more. Families will come together for hayrides, watch the daily excitement, enjoy good food, and soak in a warm, welcoming atmosphere the whole family can enjoy. Youth and adults will also grow through horsemanship, rodeo training, learning black powder shooting, and Old West re-enactments.

This will be more than a facility — it will be a place of confidence, connection, and lasting memories.

But we can’t do it alone.

What is Wild West Events Is All About?

Wild West Events is embarking on an exciting endeavor: creating a vibrant recreational event center designed to cater to the diverse interests of the entire community. Throughout the year, the center will host captivating seasonal events.

But that's not all. For the cowboys and cowgirls at heart, Wild West Events will offer a robust schedule of daily competitions, shows, and opportunities to relax and enjoy a hearty lunch or dinner. The country store will provide a unique shopping experience, filled with western-themed merchandise and local crafts. From family fun to competitive events and leisurely shopping, the possibilities for entertainment and enjoyment at Wild West Events Arena are truly endless.

Wild West Events nonprofit is a family-founded, nonprofit-aligned initiative dedicated to strengthening youth development, family connection, and community engagement through accessible outdoor programs rooted in Western heritage and education.

Our work focuses on hands-on learning, leadership development, and multigenerational experiences that foster responsibility, confidence, and belonging—particularly for youth and families who benefit from structured, value-based environments.

Across the surrounding rural communities:

Youth access to structured, outdoor enrichment is declining. Families have fewer affordable, multigenerational experiences, and community gathering spaces are increasingly limited. with Cultural and agricultural heritage exposure fading.

Wild West Events addresses these gaps by creating purpose-driven programming that brings families together while supporting youth growth and community pride.

Youth Development & Leadership, Youth horsemanship and skill-building programs, creating Responsibility, discipline, and teamwork development and confidence-building through animal care and program participation, and offering Scholarships and supported access for underserved youth.
