For the cowboys and cowgirls at heart, Wild West Events will offer a robust schedule of daily competitions, captivating Wild West shows, and opportunities to relax and enjoy a hearty lunch or dinner. The country store will provide a unique shopping experience, filled with western-themed merchandise and local crafts. From family fun to competitive events and leisurely shopping, the possibilities for entertainment and enjoyment at Wild West Events are truly endless.

Wild West Events is a family-founded, nonprofit-aligned initiative dedicated to strengthening youth development, family connection, and community engagement through accessible outdoor programs rooted in Western heritage and education.

Our work focuses on hands-on learning, leadership development, and multigenerational experiences that foster responsibility, confidence, and belonging—particularly for youth and families who benefit from structured, value-based environments.

Statement of Need.

Across the Kansas City region and surrounding rural communities:

Youth access to structured, outdoor enrichment is declining. Families have fewer affordable, multigenerational experiences, or Community gathering spaces are increasingly limited. with Cultural and agricultural heritage exposure fading.

Wild West Events addresses these gaps by creating purpose-driven programming that brings families together while supporting youth growth and community pride.

Core Impact Pillars:

Youth Development & Leadership, Youth horsemanship and skill-building programs, creating Responsibility, discipline, and teamwork development and Confidence-building through animal care and program participation, and offering Scholarships and supported access for underserved youth.

Opportunities for families to build traditions together.

Education & Heritage Preservation:

Living history and experiential learning, Agricultural and land stewardship education, and Cultural programming that connects past and present.
